Sparkle + Shine

Is there ever a wrong time for faux fur + sequins?  I think not and especially when the weather is currently playing with our feelings and closets. Living in New Orleans, it seems like there is always an occasion where it's appropriate to give a glam and glitz moment. Even if it's at your favorite bottomless mimosa brunch spot. I know that I can always count on Eloquii to snatch me together and the cost per wear justifies the price tag. Please don't hate me, but I actually found the sequin pencil skirt on sale back for $29 back in December. I think I added it to my cart and checked out in record time. I mean...nobody was gonna steal my thunder on this find. It's sold out now, but I found a similar style.

The structure of this reversible sequin skirt has a lot of give, so it moves with you while maintaining the overall structure of a pencil skirt. The gorgeous deep purple faux fur gave this look something extra, while adding texture and depth to the reversible sequin. Layering up is important in Louisiana weather, so it was a no brainer to pair the skirt with a black fitted elbow length tee.

Don't feel restricted to only wearing sequins or fur during the holidays when there are so many more occasions that calls for extra + fancy.
